The Chiefs coach Dave Rennie says this week's bye has come at a good time for his Super Rugby side.
Rennie was frustrated after Friday night's tight win over the ACT Brumbies, and says his side lacked accuracy but at least showed character to come up with seven points when they needed it.
Rennie says after two big efforts against the Crusaders and Blues, and with the last gasp win over the Brumbies, this week's bye is timely.
