The South African double amputee Oscar Pistorius hopes to have done enough to qualify for the London Olympics after again running the 400 metres 'A' qualification time.

Pistorius, who runs in carbon fibre blades, beat the qualifying time in July, earning a place at last year's World Champs to become the first amputee to compete.

In November, South Africa's Olympic Committee said athletes must run the qualifying time three months before the Games.

Pistorius, who's 25, ran 45.20 seconds just inside the qualifying time of 45.30 seconds at a provincial meet in South Africa.
