The All Blacks first five Dan Carter says he's excited rather than nervous at the prospect of returning to match play after almost six months out injured.
Carter is set to be named in the reserves for the Crusaders match against the South African side the Cheetahs in Christchurch on Saturday night.
Carter suffered the injury during goal kicking practice ahead of the All Blacks final pool match against Canada, nearly six months ago and was forced to pull out of the tournament.
