Stage fright is no longer a problem for the Brisbane Roar yet they could still be accused of fluffing their lines after drawing 1-1 with Beijing Guoan in their Asian Champions League football clash in China.
The Roar looked a shadow of their record-breaking A-League premiership-winning selves when they received a reality check in their opening ACL 2-0 loss to FC Tokyo at Suncorp Stadium - a side that had only just been promoted to Japan's top league.
Yet Brisbane finally overcame their nerves on the big stage as they warmed to the ACL in a freezing Beijing.
The Roar are bottom of their group after two games but remain just one win away from top spot.
