Third seed Roger Federer has set up another showdown with American Andy Roddick at the Miami Masters tennis tournament, after the Swiss ace beat another local, Ryan Harrison, 6-2 7-6.
Roddick beat Luxembourg's Gilles Muller 6-3 6-2 and meets Federer in the third round.
There were also second-round wins for France's Gael Monfils and Richard Gasquet, fifth seed David Ferrer and fellow Spaniard Fernando Verdasco.
Yanina Wickmayer beat fellow Belgian Kim Clijsters 6-4 7-6 to make the fourth round of the women's draw while Chinese eighth seed Li Na, German Sabine Lisicki and 10th seeded American great Serena Williams also progressed.
