New Zealand without Raikabula for Hong Kong sevens

7:35 am on 23 March 2012

The New Zealand rugby sevens team will be without vice-captain Lote Raikabula for this weekend's Hong Kong tournament because of injury.

He's been replaced by debutant Jack Wilson.

Raikabula becomes the fourth Series regular to miss the Hong Kong showpiece for the New Zealanders, joining this season's leading try-scorer, Frank Halai, forward Solomon King and utility back Toby Arnold on the list of players unavailable to coach Gordon Tietjens.

New Zealand are defending Hong Kong champions and lead the IRB series.

New Zealand play the United States tonight with their other pool matches against South Africa and Wales.
