Teenagers lead golf championships

Two teenagers Luke Toomey of Ngaruawahia and Nick Voke of Manukau stole the show in round one of the New Zealand Stroke Play golf championship in Hastings.

They both shot rounds of four under par 68 to share the lead by one shot.

Meanwhile in the women's championship World number one Lydia Ko was upstaged by the in-form national rep Emily Perry who carded a five under par 69 to lead Ko and Auckland rep Mun Chin Keh by two shots.
