23-year-old Muamba remains in intensive care in the London Chest Hospital, but over the weekend he was allowed to sit out of bed for a short time, he has begun to eat, and he watched Match of the Day yesterday, though he fell asleep when his team were leading 2-nil.
Bolton beat Blackburn to climb out of the relegation zone.
Bolton's re-arranged FA Cup quarter-final against Tottenham Hotspur will be played tomorrow morning.
