McCullum needs to resume role of test opener says Turner

The great New Zealand opening batsman Glenn Turner has suggested changes to the Black Caps test match batting order.

Turner says while he was impressed with Daniel Flynn's first innings effort in the third test at the Basin Reserve, Brendon McCullum would be his preferred option to partner Martin Guptill at the top of the order.

And Turner says third-test century maker Kane Williamson also needs to move up from number five in the order.

The Black Caps' next series is in the West Indies, starting in late June.
