The West Indies cricketers steadied the ship on the fourth day of the first test against Australia in Bridgetown, Barbados.

After an unbeaten 77-run partenrship for the 10th wicket, Australia's captain Michael Clarke was able to declare just before the tea break on 406 for 9, 43 runs behind the West Indies first innings total.

Then in less than 5 overs, Australia had reduced the West Indies to 4 for 3 wickets.

But the homeside lost just one more wicket before stumps, ending the day on 67 for 4, an overall lead of 110 runs with one day to play.
