The New Zealand Under-17 women's football team has all but booked their place at the world cup in Azerbaijan, after trouncing New Caledonia 13-1, at the Oceania qualifying tournament in Mangere.
After a seven-nil win over the Cook Islands on Monday, the Young Football Ferns now sit three points clear at the top tournament ladder and just need to avoid losing to Papua New Guinea on Friday to confirm their place in Azerbaijan.
