The under pressure Blues coach Pat Lam says a try that should never have been awarded to the Sharks during last night's Super Rugby loss in Auckland is typical of the kind of season his side is having.
The South African Franchise ran in four tries over a frantic Blues outfit with a 29-23 victory, anchoring the home side to the bottom of the New Zealand conference.
Lam says referee Steve Walsh admitted after the game that he made a mistake in awarding a try to Tim Whitehead, after the ball had been knocked on.
But Lam says his side shouldn't have been in that position in the first place and they missed too many opportunities.
