The Hurricanes have a major injury concern ahead of their super rugby match against the Crusaders in Wellington on Saturday night.
First choice halfback T J Perenara rolled an ankle at training today, the side's first day back after having a week off with the bye.
Coach Mark Hammett says he's unsure how serious the injury is but it happened during a basketball session the players were doing in the gym this morning.
If Perenara is ruled out he'll be replaced by Chris Eaton.
