The Belgian tennis star Kim Clijsters has given up on plans to play the French Open after failing to recover from a hip injury.
The former world number one, who plans to retire at the end of the season, has decided not to risk aggravating her hip problem by playing on the punishing slow surface.
But she's excited and already focussed on her two main goals in the grasscourt season - Wimbledon and the Olympics.
