Hurricanes at home for Crusaders clash

12:55 pm on 19 April 2012

The Hurricanes have made several changes to the side that beat the Sharks in New Plymouth for their Super Rugby clash with the Crusaders in Wellington on Saturday night.

The sixth-placed Hurricanes, who had the bye last week, should be playing in front of one of their biggest home crowds in some time with almost 14,000 tickets already sold.

Coach Mark Hammett has selected Jeremy Thrush at lock forcing James Broadhurst to the bench, while Victor Vito returns from injury at number eight, moving Faifili Levave to the blindside and pushing Jack Lam into the reserves.

The injured TJ Perenara is bracketed at halfback with Chris Eaton and if Perenara can't play Frae Wilson will come onto the bench.
