The Central Pulse shooters led their side to a 50-45 victory over the Canterbury Tactix in their ANZ netball clash in Porirua.
The Pulse's second victory came on the back of a 95 percent shooting display from Australian Caitlin Thwaites and a dramatically improved effort from Silver Fern goal attack Paula Griffin.
Pulse coach Robyn Broughton says they refined their attack during the week and it paid dividends on game day, as the home side worked their way back from a four-goal deficit in the second quarter to keep the Tactix at arm's length for the rest of the match.
The Pulse have now won two from four, while the Tactix have one win from four matches.
