Crusaders outlast Waratahs in Sydney

6:59 am on 30 April 2012

The Crusaders beat the New South Wales Waratahs 37-33 in Sydney yesterday to retain 6th place in the overall Super rugby standings.

The 7-times champions led 14-13 at halftime, and scored 4 tries to 3, two of them to their human wrecking ball Robbie Freuan who also set up a third try.

Round 10 was notable for the first wins this season by Australian teams overseas.

But the big news in the Australian conference centred around the Queensland and Wallabies halfback Will Genia who's heading next season to the Western Force whose captain David Poccok is tipped to re-sign.
