The Northern Mystics, the top New Zealand team in the trans-Tasman netball competition, held off a deterimined central Pulse in Palmerston North last night, winning the first of four games on the road.

The Mystics beat the Pulse 51-47, thanks in part to a 100 percent shooting display from Silver Fern Cathrine Latu.

The Mystics lie third on the ANZ championship leaderboard and defender Anna Harrison says with three away games to be played in the Gold Coast, Dunedin, and Melbourne, the team is focussed on travelling well.
