The Warriors prop Jacob Lillyman will make his National Rugby League return on Saturday night despite not being named in the team to face the Broncos at Mt Smart Stadium.
The Queensland State of Origin representative has been sidelined since tearing the bicep off the tendon in his right arm in a trial match against Gold Coast in early February.
He saw his surgeon yesterday and was declared fit to play again.
Lillyman, who wasn't in the Warriors' team list released on Tuesday, is likely to come off the bench against the Broncos.
Coach Brian McClennan says he's trained really well.
Brian McClennan.... the Warriors have a 3 and 5 record and sit 12th on the table.
