Ben Smith to play 50th game for Highlanders

Fullback Ben Smith will play his 50th Super Rugby match for the Highlanders when they take on the Sharks in Durban this Sunday morning.

Meanwhile flanker Doug Tietjens will make his second start for the southerners in one of two changes to the side that came from behind to beat the Cheetahs last weekend.

Tietjens replaces England international James Haskell who has been suspended for three weeks.

Wing Siale Piutau also comes into the starting XV replacing Buxton Popoali'i.
