The Adelaide Thunderbirds remain second on the ANZ netball table after a 58-48 win at home last night over the Southern Steel, their fifth win from six rounds.
The Thunderbirds controlled the match throughout after setting up a 7-point lead late in the first quarter, giving the Steel their third loss in five matches.
And in Christchurch, the Melbourne Vixens were even more dominant in their 65-41 win over the Canterbury Tactix.
The Vixens are the only unbeaten side in the competition while the Tactix are at the other end of the table with only one win.
