BBBC not happy with fight between Haye and Chisora

The British Boxing Board of Control has condemned the fight between heavyweights David Haye and Dereck Chisora at West Ham United's Upton Park stadium in July, which has been sanctioned by the Luxembourg Boxing Federation.

In a statement the BBBC says those behind this proposal are not concerned with the interests of the sport of professional boxing, adding that anyone involved in the fight will be considered to have terminated their licence.

The pair were involved in a brawl at a news conference in Munich following Chisora's defeat by WBC title holder Vitali Klitschko of Ukraine in February.

The BBBC will not sanction the fight because neither boxer holds a British licence.
