The Crusaders coach accepts Todd Blackadder loose forward Matt Todd may be disgruntled at being left out of for this weekend's Super Rugby match against the Rebels in Melbourne but Blackadder won't be apologising.
Todd has played in all 11 games this season but with All Blacks skipper Richie McCaw returning to captain the side and play his first full match of the season, Blackadder's opted to make a few changes.
He's also resting All Black number eight Kieran Read, who's been captain so far this season. Read drops into the reserves.
Blackaddder says players must realise they're not going to play every game.
