The Auckland City football club will represent Oceania at the Club World Cup in Japan later in the year, after defeating Tahiti's Tefana 1-nil in the second leg of the final of the Oceania League in Papeete this afternoon.
Auckland City's Spanish import, Manel Exposito, scored from a free kick late in the first half, and his team held onto the lead despite losing Alex Feneridis to a red card mid way through the second.
City won the final 3-1 on aggregate, after beating Tefana 2-1 in the first leg of the final in Auckland at the end of April.
