NBA basketball prospect Steve Adams is playing for Wellington at the New Zealand Under 21 Championships in Porirua.
Adams, tipped as a future star of the world's premier professional league, is paying a visit home before taking up his scholarship with University of Pittsburgh.
He was named Most Valuable Player when Wellington took out last year's national Under-19 title.
Adams has spent the past five months at Notre Dame Prep in Massachusetts, helping them to the national semi-finals.
Another notable inclusion is Tall Black Isaac Fotu, who rose to national team status last year and is also headed for a college scholarship at University of Hawaii.
