Rapira returns but Locke ruled out for Warriors

Prop Sam Rapira will make a welcome return to the Warriors line-up for Friday night's National Rugby League clash with the Wests Tigers but fullback Kevin Locke's expected return has been put on ice after he failed a late fitness test at training.

Rapira has been included after recovering from a knee injury at the expense of Ukuma Ta'ai, who played his 50th first-grade match in last weekend's win over the Roosters.

However the curse of the Warriors fullbacks has continued with Locke ruled out of Friday's match and stand-in number one Jerome Ropati out for up to nine weeks with a knee injury.

That means 21-year-old Glen Fisiiahi is handed his first NRL start of the year at the back.

Rapira concedes he's nervous about facing the in-form Tigers but says returning to a side that's on a winning run is a whole lot easier.
