Brumbies come from behind to beat Hurricanes

Updated at 5:11 am on 19 May 2012

The ACT Brumbies have pulled off another epic Super Rugby victory to strengthen their position at the head of the Australian conference.

The Brumbies overcame a nine-point second-half deficit, scoring the last three tries to beat the Hurricanes 37-25 in Wellington.

Hurricanes coach Mark Hammett says when your side scores four tries, you'd expect to win, and so it's one that got away from them and maybe they played too much footy.

It comes as a huge confidence-booster for the Brumbies, who had not won in Wellington since 2003, their coach Jake White concedes it's one they stole.

White says to win is one thing, to leave Wellington with a bonus point is fantastic and there's nothing greater in rugby than to not play well and still get a victory.
