The New Zealand canoe team has finished the first Sprint World Cup of the year in Poland without winning any medals.
Steven Ferguson and Darryl Fitzgerald were less than a second outside the medals, finishing fourth in their K2 500 men's final in Poznan.
Erin Taylor and Lisa Carrington were fifth in the A final of the women's K2 500.
The team now head from Poland to Duisburg in Germany this afternoon to prepare for next weekend's second World Cup meet, before separating to train in different locations around Europe.
