NZ crews still alive at last chance regatta

The New Zealand men's lightweight four have reached the final of their event at the final Olympic qualifying regatta in Lucerne.

Curtis Rapley, James Lassche, Graham Oberlin Brown and Duncan Grant finished second to the USA in their repechage, but will need to improve in tonight's final as just two Olympic spots are up for grabs.

The other New Zealand crew trying to qualify for London, the men's eight, also race their final tonight with just one Olympic spot available. While there are only three crews in the final, the New Zealanders finished eight seconds behind the USA in the heats and will struggle to close that gap tonight.
