The England cricketers have sealed their 3-test series against the West Indies with a nine-wicket victory in the second match at Trent Bridge in Nottingham.

The England captain Andrew Strauss and fellow opener Alastair Cook scored most of the 108 runs they needed for victory on the fourth day to give the home side a 2-nil lead after a 5-wicket win in the opening match at Lord's.

Marlon Samuels had delayed the home side's victory celebrations with a defiant 76 not out, helping lift the West Indies from 61-6 overnight in their second innings to 165 all out.

the England all-rounder Tim Bresnan was named man of the match for taking 8 wickets.

Bresnan is proving a talisman for the team having won all 13 tests he's played in.
