The Southland golfer Vaughan McCall has overtaken Ben Campbell to be the ranked the top amateur golfer in New Zealand.
McCall's runner-up finish at the Wales Stroke Play Championship moved him up the rankings.
Zimbabwe's Nick Price has been appointed as Greg Norman's replacement as captain of the Internationals team for the 2013 Presidents Cup in Ohio.
The three-time major champion will guide the Internationals against the United States, who'll again be led by Fred Couples.
The Americans have won the tournament seven times and tied once with the Internationals only win, coming in Melbourne in 1998.
