The Central Pulse has jumped to sixth on the trans-Tasman netball ladder with a 54-47 win over the Canterbury Tactix in Christchurch.
It extended the Pulse's winning streak to three, a first for the franchise.
The Tactix got off to a quick start, leading by 5-1 early on but the Pulse composed themselves and the scores were level at quarter time.
The Central Pulse took a 31-26 lead into the half-time break and got progressively stronger, eventually winning by eight.
The Australian goal shoot Caitlin Thwaites was dominant again for the Pulse, scoring 37 of her 40 attempts.
