A qualifier from Kazakhstan has pulled of a stunning upset at the start of week two at the French tennis Open in Paris.
Yaroslava Shvedova ended the title defence of Li Na as the Chinese champion spectacularly self destructed. After taking the first set 6-3, Li won only two of the next 14 games against an aggressive opponent, ending the match with an embarrassing 41 unforced errors.
The women's favourite Maria Sharapova is through to the quarter-finals and she'll take over as world number one if she makes the final.
In the men's draw Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic are one win away from a semi-final meeting, but they have tough quarter-final matches coming up against Juan Martin del Potro and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga respectively.
It's Federer's 32nd consecutive quarter-final at a grand-slam event, a record. The last time the Swiss great didn't make the last eight was also in Paris, way back in 2004 when he lost in the third round to Brazil's three-time Roland Garros winner Gustavo Kuerten.
The Spaniards Nicolas Almagro and David Ferrer are also through to the last eight.
