All Blacks captain happy but says room for improvement

The All Blacks captain Richie McCaw says last night's victory over Ireland was a great way to start their 2012 campaign but says the men in black are far from done yet.

McCaw was again outstanding in the 42-10 demolition of the visitors alongside fellow loosies Kieran Read and Victor Vito and the three debutants wing Julian Savea, who scored a hattrick, halfback Aaron Smith and lock Brodie Retallick.

McCaw says one box has been ticked but the All Blacks still have plenty of room left for improvement especially in the ruck and maul area.

The sides meet again next Saturday in Christchurch in the second of three tests.
