The West Indies pace bowler Tino Best has made history after smashing 95 runs in the third and final cricket test against England in Birmingham.

Best's innings is the highest score by a number 11 batsman in test cricket, and his effort contributed to a last wicket partnership of 143 in the Windies first innings total of 426.

At stumps on day four of the severely rain-affected match England were 221 for 5 in their first innings.
