Vito in doubt for second Irish test

The All Blacks loose forward Victor Vito left the field with a deep cut above his eye in Saturday night's 42-10 trouncing of Ireland in Auckland, but it's a medial ligament strain that might rule him out of this weekend's second test in Christchurch.

Coach Steve Hansen has confirmed that Vito, who was a standout performer in the Eden Park romp, has damaged his right knee, but he was cagey about the extent of the injury.

Steve Hansen wouldn't be drawn into any likely personnel changes for Christchurch, though he did say second five Ma'a Nonu would sit out another match.

He says Sonny Bill Williams is going well in the position, and he'll probably be left there for now.
