Baby Blacks make world championship semi-finals

11:40 am on 13 June 2012

The New Zealand under-20 rugby side has qualified for the semi-finals at the Junior World Championship in South Africa after beating Fiji 33-12.

New Zealand led 7-5 at half-time and scored five tries to two.

After their loss to Wales at the weekend, the Baby Blacks needed the bonus point victory to have any chance of making the semi-finals.

They'll meet Wales again in the semi-finals on Monday morning, while South Africa will play Argentina in the other semi-final.
