O'Neill dismisses Connolly criticism

Australian Rugby's chief executive John O'Neill has dismissed as absurd fierce criticism from the former Wallabies coach John Connolly.

Connolly has called for a complete review of the game if the Wallabies lose their three test series against Wales, having said last week the past four years have been Australia's worst in the professional era.

Connolly also thinks Robbie Deans should be replaced if the Wallabies lose their current series.

But O'Neill says the facts show Australia are ranked No.2 in the world and are the current Tri Nations champions, and Queensland are the defending Super Rugby champions.
