Scots get their hat-trick down under

6:42 pm on 23 June 2012

The Scotland rugby team has completed a hat-trick of wins on their Southern Hemisphere tour, with a last-gasp 17-16 win over Manu Samoa in Apia.

The tourists led 7-6 at half-time, by a try to two penalties, but a penalty and a second-half converted try had Samoa in front 16-10.

But a late try to debutant loose forward Rob Harley saw the Scots home to complete the trifecta, after beating Fiji and Australia in the previous two weeks.

Tusi Pisi scored all the points for Samoa while Richie Gray scored the other Scotland try and Greig Laidlaw did the kicking.
