The Newcastle Knights produced their best performance of a disappointing season to beat West Tigers 38-20 in Monday night's National Rugby League game in Newcastle.
The Knights former dual international centre Timana Tahu scored a hat-trick of tries in 12 minutes either side of half-time as Wayne Bennett's side ended a run of five straight losses.
Wests Tigers had led 14-0 after 22 minutes.
They remain in eighth place on the table, while the Knights are four points outside the top eight.
