The Newcastle Knights produced their best performance of a disappointing season to beat West Tigers 38-20 in Monday night's National Rugby League game in Newcastle.
The Knights former dual international centre Timana Tahu scored a hat-trick of tries in 12 minutes either side of half-time as Wayne Bennett's side ended a run of five straight losses.
