Coach Foley fronts Waratahs board

12:07 pm on 27 June 2012

The under-pressure Waratahs coach Michael Foley has fronted the New South Wales board as he fights to save his job at the Super Rugby franchise.

The Waratahs have won just four matches this year and with six straight losses, they're already resigned to one of their worst campaigns.

The Waratahs have two matches still to play, but Foley made a presentation to the board Tuesday, to review the Waratahs' dismal season.

The Waratahs have the bye this week before finishing the season off against Australian Conference rivals and finals contenders, the Brumbies and Queensland Reds.

In a statement released by the club the Waratahs board says it will take time to consider the content of the review, with uncertainty still remaining over coaching and management positions beyond 2012.
