The German central midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger will be available to play in the European Championship semi-finals against Italy on Friday morning.
Schweinsteiger had been in doubt with an ankle injury, but coach Joachim Loew says all his players are fit to take on the Italians in Warsaw.
Loew says Schweinsteiger is a key component in the German lineup.
The Spain-Portugal semi-final on Thursday is likely to feature seven Real Madrid players on either side.
