The Hurricanes halfback TJ Perenara says his rehabilition from a broken ankle earlier this month won't be delayed by a blood clot he developed after surgery.
The 20-year-old broke his left ankle during a friendly match against the Reds earlier this month and has been ruled out for the rest of the Super rugby season.
He has spent the last week in a Brisbane hospital recovering as the blood clot rendered him unable to fly.
TJ Perenara, now back in New Zealand, says the blood clot won't have any delay his rehabilitation.
He says he hopes to be back in four months.
