Kane Williamson is set to keep the captaincy of the New Zealand cricket team in the absence of Ross Taylor, who could miss at least the one day series against the West Indies with his shoulder injury.
Williamson skippered the side as the Windies wrapped up a 2-nil Twenty20 series whitewash today with a comprehensive 61-run win in the second match in Florida.
Taylor's not even sure if he'll play again in the test series, after scans revealed a grade two injury.
Taylor says if he's looking positive he'll stay on but if not then he'll fly back home.
Williamson has had a relatively short international Twenty20 career, which only started in October last year.
The 21-year-old first represented the Black Caps in August 2010.
The young batsman is not new to captaincy, having led the New Zealand under-19 side in 2008 and has had experience captaining English county side Gloucestershire.
A dislocated finger means the bowler Roneel Hira won't take any further part in the tour.
Trent Boult has been added to the squad for the five-match ODI series, which starts on Friday in Jamaica.
