The Melbourne Vixens have beaten the Southern Steel 56 to 38 in Invercargill to wrap up the ANZ trans-Tasman netball minor premiership and ensure a home semi-final.
It proved one of the mismatches of the season, the Vixens completely dominating from start to finish with a blistering opening quarter laying the platform for a comprehensive win as they dished out a netballing lesson to the ninth placed Steel.
