Williams determined to extend Magic winning streak to 10

11:18 am on 9 July 2012

The Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic will have the chance to set up an all-New Zealand preliminary final of the trans-Tasman netball championships when they meet the Adelaide Thunderbirds in the minor-semi final in Hamilton tonight.

The Northern Mystics were beaten 56-50 by the Melbourne Vixens last night so they'll host the preliminary final in Auckland next weekend.

Tonight's match is a do or die match for the Magic, and they will be bouyed by the fact that when they met the Thunderbirds in round 13, they came out on top by 17 goals.

The Magic defender and Silver Ferns captain Casey Williams says they will be hoping for another dominant performance over the Thunderbirds but realise the visitors will be desparate.

The game gets underway at 7:40 tonight.
