Europa win for Portadown

The Northern Ireland football club Portadown has made the next round of qualifying for the Europa League with a 2-1 comeback win over Macedonian side Shkendija 79.

After drawing the first away leg 0-0, Portadown went behind to an away goal in the first half before storming back to win the tie 2-1 on aggregate with two second-half goals.

Other sides in action in the first round include Dutch side FC Twente and Scotland's Hibernian.
