New Zealand has won a second gold medal at the Under-23 Rowing World Championships in Lithuania, with the men's double of Nathan Flannery and Hayden Cohen winning their event.
It means the Cohen brothers now both hold world titles in the double scull, with Hayden's brother and two time world champion Nathan now limbering up for the Olympic campaign with another former Under 23 world champion, Joseph Sullivan.
The double started from an unfavoured lane and were not one of the fastest qualifiers, but put in a great race to pip germany.
The women's lightweight double scull of Georgia Hammond and Sophie Mackenzie also took a bronze medal in their final to take the medal tally for New Zealand to two gold and three bronze medals.
Over the weekend Kayla Pratt and Kelsey Bevan took gold in the women's pair.
