The sun has made a rare appearance in London, warming up some hope that the Olympics will be held in something resembling summer conditions.
Rain and low temperatures have clouded Great Britain in recent weeks, prompting some athletes to head to the continent for warmer training conditions.
However the New Zealand team chef de mission Dave Currie believes New Zealand athletes are resilient and will cope well if the weather is disruptive.
Some parts of London got to a high of 19 degrees on Thursday.
