Shoulder charge gets Greg Inglis 3-match ban

The South Sydney fullback Greg Inglis was suspended last night for three matches by the NRL judiciary for his shoulder charge on the St George-Illawarra lock Dean Young last Saturday.

But it was a furious South Sydney contingent who stormed out of Rugby League headquarters having failed to have Inglis's grade four dangerous contact charge reduced to a grade two.

Young was taken from the field in a medicab with his neck in a brace.
